"Dzogchen" calligraphy by the Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
Art Poetry

Melt the Clouds of Sin and Sadness

I bow at the feet of guru Dechen Rongdrol
May my mind never be separated from your heart

In this journey of gain and loss
Let me have "loss" and let others enjoy "gain"
May I lose the attachment to the eight worldly dharmas
May I seize the fortress of equality

In this journey of praise and blame
Let me have "blame" and let others enjoy "praise"
May I be blamed for dualistic fixation
May I seize the fortress of non-dual awareness

In this journey of pleasure and pain
Let me have "pain" and let others enjoy "pleasure"
May I see the equality of pleasure and pain
May I seize the fortress of great bliss wisdom

In this journey of fame and shame
Let me have "shame" and let others enjoy "fame"
May I transcend the value of fame and shame
May I seize the fortress of uncompromising dharma

This little song of unconditional love
Stamping down the eight worldly dharmas
Is sung and danced to by yogin Dechen Gyurme Dorje at
the Wish Fufilling Stupa of Boudhanath
